Llywernog Mine is a good starting point for exploring the
many tracks and footpaths that criss-cross the old silver-lead mining
district to the west of Plynlimon. Many of these are being upgraded
and way-marked as part of the 'Mining Landscapes Project' to raise
awareness of this fascinating mining story.
Mountain bikes will soon be available for hire at the mine.
